The Savage packages are ususally priced in a VERY COMPETITIVE way, even considering the marginal scopes they usually stick on those packages (Cheap Simmons and Tascos usually) The thing is they will shoot great right out of the box and you can always upgrade that scope later. The scope you will receive will surley last a season and that gives you a year to save for a better scope.
