I recently switched from an Impact Archery to the Trophy Ridge, But I purchased the Flatliner instead of the aluminum sight housing. The Zytel that the flatliner is made from is more impact resistant...and I quote "...given the same force of impact the aluminum housing would probably break or crack where as the plastic one will have some give to it..."
This is an excerpt from a conversation I had with a Trophy Ridge Tech over the phone before I made my purchase, questioning the "main" differences between the Matrix and the Flatliner. I don't care if the sight is camo and didn't want to spend the extra money on extras that do nothing to improve the performance.
