Generally mechs are more accuarte for the average guy shooting the average hunting rig. And as we all know, Turkey hunting requires the best accuarcy you can muster to place a b-head in a small baseball sized kill zone. Also, the larger cutting swaths of the big bladed mechs assure more devastating wounds. We all know that you really have to crush a Gobbler to put 'em down for the count. The "7mm" mag wound mentioned above is NO exaggeration at all, mechs tear 'em up!!! Also as mentioned, penetration is not a concern so shoot a monster bladed head, you're either leaving two tremendous holes in the bird OR the arrow will stay in the bird making that much more difficult for him to scramble to his feet. IMO, I don't think you could possibly make a better choice then shooting large mechs for Gobblers. I really like the Rocket Slammerhead.
