I have been doing taxidermy for myself and my friends for about seven years. I have mastered deer, mule deer, fish, turkeys, squirrels, foxs, coyotes, bobcats, reptiles, skull mounts, and rack mounts. I am thinking of quitting my job as a jailer for the city and opening a combo taxidermy shop and sports/bait shop. I also make my own ladder stands and some small animal forms. Should I take the risk and go for my own business and leave my job and its retirement and insurance benifits?
