Default RE: Dealer License in PA?

Are you sure you want a FFL????? Do some research and see if you really want to subject yourself to all the headaches that go along with a FFL.For many years I threw the idea around.I talked to several people who have or had FFL's. The Clinton Administration made it harder to get FFL's. Clinton eliminated or reduced the number of FFL holders. Most of the people I talked to said it was more trouble then it was worth and gave them up.Unless you're going in to the gun business big time ,it's not worth fooling with.Dealing with BATF is one problem.Because you have an FFL doesn't mean you'll get super deals. The bigger dealers come first when it comes to the distrubutors. The ones who do the most business get the cream of the crop you might say.BATF can come at anytime of the day to search your records. After thinking about it for a long time I decided to pay the extra or pay the transfer fee and let someone else worry about the paperwork and all the headaches that go along with having a FFL.Clinton really put the screws to FFL Dealers. He imposed more regulations. You must have a regular store front with set business hours. To eliminate the partime at home dealers. If I'm wrong I would like to be corrected. That is my understanding about the store and set hours of operation.
