I guess my take on it is different. If the draw is right and you only want 65lbs this probably will perform better than a 70lber turned down to 65. So I guess it just depends on what your needs are. I definitely like shooting a bow that is bottomed out, but maybe it isn't an issue on a newer bow like the X-Tec. So it might be what the pro shop was getting at in terms of taking a look at the performance setup as is. Like was mentioned above you might just have a custom setup there if the specs are what you're looking for.
