mark have you seen these things? they are not really plinkers. they have NO sights even. the owner of the company says its strictly a close range defensive pistol and that if you need sights your shooting from too far away. i suppose you could use them as plinkers but if i wanted a plinker i would go to something slightly larger and with sights. in a defensive pisol though i would definatly go .380
