they only make a couple thousand a year. it is the ultimate small pocket pistol. they make a .380 that has the exact outer dimensions of the .32 but a bigger hole in the barrel. thats some engineering marvel there. the price is justified by that. as i am sure you noticed the gun has no sights either. the gun has so much demand that there are years of backorders but the owner says hes just happy making all he can sell at (i think there not expensive from the factory) $450 or less. the reason that they cost so much is that some people would rather pay twice the price than wait several years for one to come from the factory
