Default RE: QUESTION ABOUT MISSOURI OUTFITTER

I hunt Putnam County, and Adair County both are excellent, however I beleive while the buck quality may be a little better in Putnam the doe population is crazy. I've never hunted the public land in Putnam but I've heard several good things come about, with Rebels Cove. The private land around here is generally easily accessible, as long as respect is shown, but there is also an awful lot of leased land, it's going for around $7 to $8 an acre.
I don't know what this outfitter is going to charge but I would drive around with a platt map, when I found ground, without purple on the fence posts and signs I'd look up the owner.
Or you could get ahold of the Unionville Sportsmans Club, they own several acres and each member is alotted so many acres to hunt, I believe they are under very strict management guidelines, but my ground joins them and they also have some top quality deer.
Just some ideas!
