My Max is about 40. Last year I shot a beautiful fat doe at 40 yards and had a complete pass through. (But I don't shoot speed, I shoot heavy arrows. ) I practice out to 50 and occasionally 60, but the majority of the deer I've harvested is 15 to 20. If and its a big if, I get a Wyoming Antelope license, I'll practice shooting 50 even more. Because the far side of the water hole is 45 yards. I'll probably just wait until one comes in to the close side which is about 20 yards.

Shoot, truth be known, I probably won't even draw a tag.[&o] Been trying for Elk and Antelope for the past four years without any luck.
