I have never owned a rifle from Big Green, but I have an 11-87 and an 870 and they are fine shotguns. Maybe not like a Benelli or a Belgium made Browning, but they dont cost the same either. And I know an awful lot of guys who swear by their 700's. Maybe they just dont do auto rifles so well.
