Keith! you need to kind of twist and curl it into position ,don't worry about breaking or bending it.It's not that difficult it just take's a little tinkering .{Twist and curl} I found this out when I put my blind up as well.My 10 year old showed me how it worked hahaha.I'm certainly sure you know without asking where the doghouse is haha.LMAO
