30 yards gives the fletching plenty of time to strighten a slightly off kilter arrow out pretty well. I'd try shooting closer distances again and see where you are.

I had the same thing when I first started. Stacked them up at 20+ but all over the road @10-12-15...5" feathers really work if you give them time
