I have had decent luck with the new Triple Shock Barnes. For shots under 100yards, you can shoot about anything from 125gr to 200gr with great results from a M1. Idealy, for deer, I like 165gr Sierra for my 308win, but like 180gr for 30-06.
Quilly, did you have trouble with the 308 ammo. Its ok if you did. I understand shipping out of your state might be rough.
