First off,Congrats to your son. As for the jakes movin.They won't go far.As they get older they'll move around and try to establish their own territories but some will stay close by.A turkey won't just roost anywhere.He's only gonna roost in an area that has everythin he wants(food,protection from weather,hens,struttin areas etc.)The area you were huntin must have all of these.So if you'rer askin if that would be a good spot next year I'd say yeah.
