Yep any gun that shoots 1.5 inch groups(Weatherby Guarantee) should be thrown out in the Garbage or better yet mail it to me , I'll pay postage for that one and any others people in your area are unloading. You make an statement condemning 2 fine Rifle lines and then quote an Idiot of a Gunsmith and expect to get no flack about it. Get Real.
Here again, you're proving that your lights are on, but nobody is home. The only rifle line I condemned was Remington, and that's from personal experience. I was only relaying what this gunsmith (who makes more money than I do) relayed to me. So you really should get your facts straight.
And yes, when my last two rifles (both Brownings) will shoot 3/4" groups with factory ammo, and 1/2" groups with reloads, a highly touted Remington shooting 1.5" groups won't be around very long. And who cares about Weatherby's guarantee? I've got a lever action 30-30 that will shoot better than 1.5" groups.
