Default RE: Remington 700

I went to Wannenmacher's gun show here in Tulsa today. You would not believe all the 700's in there. New and used, nobody was touching them. In fact, I ran across one guy who accurizes firearms and he said he'd rather work with a Savage action than either the 700 or a Winchester. I guess Remington better get their butts in gear and get back to what made them famous.
Huh what planet are you on ? Remington and Winchesters hold their value better then anything else I have seen. That may be a regional thing but by no means a nationwide belief. I have beefed about their products in the past but it doesn't keep me from buying them, Just like anything else you get a bad one you get a bad one. I just bought a brand new Remington and Winchester in January and they are both great guns. If the gunsmiths in your area would rather work on a Savage than a Remington or Winchester then remind me never to send a gun to that area for any sort of repairs since it seems you have Idiots for gunsmiths in that area.[:@]
