I wholly agree with c903. Nothing beats a pro shop or even just an experienced friend when you first start out. Also, for your own safety, I would recommend getting it thoroughly checked out, as was also mentioned. If you don't find a pro shop near you that you like, talk to the people shooting if there is an indoor range at those shops. I have met a lot of nice people at the shooting range.
