I posted a question here last week about a Martin bow & really appreciated the feedback I got. I bought it & It seems to fit quite well & shoots very well for me. I had to start using just 2 arrows to practice with because if I use three I'm breaking too many.
Anyhow, my boss bought his kid a Martin Magnum, I believe it also says panther on it.
Well the kid cant sit still long enuff to bowhunt & now its just sitting there gathering dust.
Its the correct draw length & while presently set at 45 lbs goes up to 60 or so.
Carl (My boss) bowhunts but he's lefty so he's kinda stuck with it. I asked him about it & he said he'll let it go for $350. Its alot shorter than the one I just got & being obsessive about hunting tools, having another bow wont bug me a bit. $350 seems high though, for a used bow to me. I dont want to take advantage of his situation, but I dont want to over pay either, so, wadda you guys think? $350 fair price? This bows got very few arrows thru it. He sighted in & sat in a tree for an hour or two & quit.
