Default RE: Buck or Doe?

Obviously everyone wants to shoot a buck. But if my doe to buck ratio is 6 to 1 ya better believe some does will be thinned out.(if they are ever seen again that is) People have to realize there is a big difference county to county in deer herd. I'm sick of "know it alls" supporting the DEC because they don't see a problem in their little hunting world. They respond with "you're not doing something right it has nothing to do with the DEC" or "There is nothing wrong with the deer population in NY"

Stueben county?? Excellent !! The highest buck take in the last few years I believe. Great hunting by looking at the stats. The DEC permits and DMU's will probably not affect huters success there.

Cayuga county?? (where I hunt) Sucks!! among the lowest harvest numbers in NYS. So don't sit there and tell me the new DMU's and all the other bullcrap hasn't affected my hunting and there are zillions of deer still in NY. Some counties maybe not see a difference. Others that were teatering on the population being abundant in the first place are getting killed.

oops sorry this wasn't supposed to be a debate.
