Maybe the banning of game farms was just a fluke coincidence with the sudden emergence of MT bulls at the top ranks of the bow records
I am not sure about Montana, however, in most states game farms have to keep pretty meticulous recors about the animals they have including where they came from and how they are disposed of.
Maybe MT bulls suddenly jumped onto a whole new realm genetically
"Fluke" animals come from every part of the country. The deep south isn't known for large racked whitetails either but there have been some 190 class bucks come from Mississippi in the last few years. I live in Arkansas and there was a non-typical that is going to score around 208 that was killed within 20 miles of where I live. That certainly is not common for my area. My area never has been in the top of the book for record kills in the state. But, I don't think there was any change in the genetics but rather one buck got some age and some good nutrition and came away with a record rack. It just doesn't seem that unusual to me. JMO
Finally, it's simply not true that Chuck Adams is universally revered in his field. I know Craig Boddington thinks he's a bum, for starters.
Who is Craig Boddington??????????
