Sorry I wouldn't call it dumb and would probably try it if the shot was right. It's just like any other shot. If the shot your after presents itself you take it. It just wouldn't be there.

It won't work from a tree stand since the angle isn't there. Unless you where hunting maybe on a hill side. It could be there on a ground blind or stalking. You would have to limit it to bambi's. Otherwise the arrow could get hung up. It would be an interesting kill.
