F4YG, That's good advice you gave., I'm not saying Ruger's are the best,I just haven't seen any better LOL.
I've never owned a Ruger so I'm going by hear say.I'm sure you believe that too?
I agree the Winchester M-70's are nice. If I was looking for a economy rifle ,the Savage would be my choice. Another fine rifle is the Tikka " Whitetail Hunter".There are allot of good rifles to choose from but the Rem 710 isn't one of them.
