But here is my view anyway. Your question is a question that should for the most part never come up. The effective range of a bow is limited much more by accuracy and a shooter ability than it is by killing power. The killing range of most bows far exceeds the distance a bow hunter can effectively, and consistantly hit where he is aiming.

The "killing range" of a bow is an envelope that IMO should never be approached!!!

Keep them close and hit them where you should
