I own a set of the Rain Suede packables and I like them quite a bit. I also wear the jacket as an outer layer during the snowy late elk hunt; it is quiet in the cold, IMO. Three improvements could be made to them: 1) they are a little difficult to "pack" into their own pockets. It can be done if pack space is critical, but I usually just wad them up in the bottom of my day pack. 2) I don't like hoods and the jacket has a nonremovable hood. It fills with junk like twigs, snow and dirt as I still hunt. 3) They catch on fire pretty easy, but that probably was my fault looking back on it...
