I thought I'd go ahead and give it a try anyway. Here's a pic of mine. You can see I pretty much followed the instructions from the link I gave you, although instead of using a "V" block, I drilled a hole through a piece of oak slightly bigger than the diameter of my arrows. This way, I don't have to worry about them bouncing around; they hold rock-steady as the motor spins them.
Here's a pic of my my first set of arrows I did using the cresting machine. I wasn't trying to get fancy yet, but I can tell you, it would have been easy to do. This setup allows for laying down a very thin, fine line.
