mkacala697: For the most part the gun is your choice, Remington is mine a 11-87. It is what ever you can afford at the time, you can always upgrade at a later time. My choice of ammo is 3" mag. #4 shot from Federal works well in my gun, but each gun is different so you have to try different loads in your gun you get. As for pellets in the kill zone (head and neck area) I get around 20 to 25 in the kill zone at 40 yards. Good Luck and Hunt safe.
