Me personally, I'd stick with either the 7mm mag or the 270. I personally don't see the big deal with the new WSM's. And unless you reload ammo selection will be very limited and more expensive in comparison to the other two. I also like to give a new cartridge a few years to see if its going to hang around before I plunk down anywhere from 500 to 700 on a rifle chambered for it. I know others will promise you by all that is holy that these new WSM's are here to stay forever and maybe they're right but a lot of my friends told me the same thing about the .264 magnum too when it first came out. How well I remember when it was going to be the next wonder cartridge. Go to your local sporting goods store now and check the availability those suckers. "IF" you can find a box they will cost about 30 or more dollars for 20. My friends have to mail order bullets for the .264 mags they purchased.
