Default RE: Feeding problems in 1911 clone

Alright, got rained out yesterday, so I went to the range today. I put 150 rounds through the gun and the slide caught at most 5 times. I seriously don't think it is the ammo or clip as the slide doesn't come into contact with either of these before it stops. But just for grins, I ran a box of CCI Blazer 230gr FMJ, a box of Winchester 230gr FMJ, and a box of Winchester 230gr HP. And like I said, out of 150 rounds it caught only 5 times at the most. It didn't catch on any particular brand or style bullet more than any other so I really think I need to just keep putting rounds through it like some of you said. This weekend I am going to the shop to purchase a few more clips and I will talk to him about it anyway.

Thanks for all your help guys.
