Default Too decoy or not too decoy.

How many of you use decoy(s) ? It seems like alot of states season start a month or two before mine. Are my turkeys here in New Hampshire at the end of prime gobblin or mateing time by opening day of May 3rd here?

will the decoys help me out if the turkeys are close to the end of their struting / Mateing time.

I would only use them on private land where I have permission to hunt. There is public land with turkeys thats managed pretty good by fish and game but the decoys seem to be a dangous thing to do there knowing there could be other hunters there. also no orange "posts or flags" are required here.
