A friend of mine does it all the time. It's not a problem. The shoulder of the 280 being .05 further up than the '06 is a good thing. You form a second shoulder and headspce snug on that. When you fire it the shoulder blows forward to fill the chamber.You get brass that fits your chamber better this way.It being shorter is no big deal. Like my friend says "I'll never have to trim them".
