I didn't chrono the XTec, but it's IBO speed is only 5fps faster than the UltraMag and the UltraMag clocked at 231fps with nothing but a peep and nock set on the string. I will try the XTec just to satisfy my curiosity, but I don't expect it to be more than a few fps better than the UMag (which would put it just about equal to my Proline).
