Default RE: New bows that can beat my antique?

Rack-attack - My Proline has a brace height of 6 7/8", I believe. I don't have it here right now to doublecheck, but it is not a short brace bow. It is a 41" A-to-A, double cam (more like an energy wheel) bow. I really didn't think it would be a hard bow to beat with today's bows, which is why I was shocked / disappointed that the Hoyt was actually slower at the same poundage and using my arrows.

I will be checking out the Bowtech's, but didn't think I'd have to spend that much money to get a little more performance. I'm not a speed freak (I do shoot a 490gr arrow!!). Just looking for an improvement!

Thanks! ... Shockwave
