Thanks guys. I was thinking a 150 grain bullet could be used for either deer or Elk. My Elk load for my 300 WSM is the 180 grain Nosler Partition. But as a backup gun, the 7mm with a 150 gr. pill ought to do. I'll have to experiment with it, but thanks for your suggestions. The 7mm looks to be a very good cartridge.
