The only thing that comes to my mind when I hear the term flintnapping, is the making of either arrowheads, spearpoints, or knives out of flint. Napping is the tecnique of flakeing the flint to make a sharp cutting edge, and to form the shape. You might want to ask him CD. It's something I always thought would be cool to learn how to do.
