Don't use a .22lr for coyotes. It will not get the job done. I shoot coyotes
and fox that I trap with a .22 and they do not die real quickly. That's
with a head shot at close range. Use a .223, .243, 22-250, or a 12 gauge
with buckshot. Remember you are there to kill the animal humanely not
just hurt him.
