Default RE: Which Mathews is better, LX or Outback?

Mike from Texas, you definitely shot a dud. Go to the Outdoor Pro Shop in Richardson. They have one set up without cat whiskers or limb savers and it is very quiet with virtually no hand shock. I would never add limb savers or whiskers to my LX and I wouldn't expect them to be on an Outback. I have been told that it isn't really a good idea to push the weight past 70# on the Outback. That also could have been part of the problem. (unless you had one of the Safari Series bows)

For what it's worth, my buddy decided to upgrade from his 1996 Ultralite to an Outback today. I am not ready to trade in my LX any time soon, but I think that a hunter would be happy with either bow.
