Default Opinions on a bow. Martin guys or others please?

I'm looking at getting a bow well suited to target shooting and possibly some 3D (my hunting bow isn't what I'd call a shooters bow). There is a Cougar 2000 Fuzion (M-2001) at the shop on the used rack. It turns out it's a practically new bow, one of the owners just took it down off the rack and set it up; practiced with it very little (while in the shop), and took it out the next day hunting. He harvested a buck with it and has probably not even shot it a hundred times (maybe less than 50). It has a wiskerbiscuit droptine in camo, a decent 6 or 7 inch skyline camoed stabilizer, limbsavers, catwiskers, rope loop, and a peep site. The price on it is $225. I pulled it down to shoot today over lunch and I was quiet, fast, and stable; with a decent wall. It had a smooth draw cycle also, set at 65 lbs.
I origionally made up a list of what I was looking for in a bow and this bow meets all of the criteria. I think he would even honor the warranty on it, but I'm not sure of that quite yet.
I was considering an Ultratech but going this route would obviously save me a bunch of jack that I could use on other archery related stuff. And I kind of like the idea of being on the other end of the depreciation factor for once. And, may I add that I'm not brand loyal.
So: I'm looking for opinions on this model and my potential choices here. I'd appreciate comments from anyone that has them but I expect one from you- Cougar Mag.
Thanks in advance guys.
