I also have had a few p&y elk within range, the biggest being 350 or maybe a little bigger, but one of his cows busted my movement trying to draw the bow, man he was a monster. Actually could have shot an elk that I am quite sure would have scored 400 or bigger, but I passed on him. Oh by the way it wasn't hunting season and he was quite visible from the I-90. Only 246 yards according to my father's laser rangefinder. Man he was amazing to see, and he was an 8x8.
