trailblazer, that 2" cut broadhead maytom is talkin about would
be the thing for turkey huntin. but, I just use the same broadheads
i use for deer huntin. 3 blade 100gr muzzys. I'm not so sure it's
necessary for the broadhead to stay in the turkey. I've watched(on tv)
bunches of gobblers fly and or run off with the arrow still in em.
I shot a jake this fall right through the wing, and cut it in half
with that muzzy. they can't fly off with a broken wing, and you can always
put another arrow in em to finish em off. my arrow cut the wing and went all
the way through.
I keep the same poundage as when deer huntin. 65 lbs, gives me the speed
i need, and I'm confortable pullin it back. don't get no better than
takin a turkey with a bow does it?<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
