Next week the Colorado DOW will consider lowering the price of cow elk tags to $250. I suspect they will do this. However, they are also going to consider raising the price fo a bull tag to $470 and a buck tag to $285. I suspect they won't do this, but would suggest all interested parties email them and tell them what they think.
