Default Tuning for shelf shooting

I just got into traditional archery and recently fletched 1/2 doz. carbon woods with turnable nocks and want to know what is the best position for fletching to be coming off the shelf? should it be with one feather hitting the riser? or should it be hitting the risor or in the corner of the shelf? Like I said I'm new at this and know that trail and error will produce the best results but I just wanted a starting point.

PS I am using three feathers

Thanks
