Well, The glue for the slate finally hardened and cured. . I am proud of it, it is my first call and it sounds good as hell. The pot is black walnut and i put four coats of poly on it ( the pictures dont do it much justice, even the non turkey hunts think it looks nice) it slate over a glass sound board. I cant believe how good it sounds. I also made a hickory and a purple heart striker.. I tuned them both myself. I will post them once the last coat of poly dries on them.
