8 ex-smoker's or 3 healthy young buck breaths aside, the reality is that they don't take all that much time to inflate. I like 'em 'cause they're compact and lightweight. I also think their smaller size is quite lifelike. Finally, the anti-spin stake gives a good sense of motion in any breeze without becoming a spinner. I usually put the Sceerys out in stuff like plowed fields, short grass or bare spots, roads, etc., when I don't want a big decoy to scare the toms. (I like to think of my Sceery decoys as not too scary!

)
I don't use them exclusively, however. I also have a Delta hot hen, a Passive Jake, and some Carrylite or Flambeau decoys, I forget which. The latter are big, heavy, cumbersome, and get goofy-looking when you unfold 'em, but I still use them from time to time.
Have any of you used the breeding hen action stake??
