I would say that it would be ONE HECK of a first bow. Geez, I wish I had that as my first bow
The Pat has VFT so the bow will feel longer than it is (this will make the bow more stable for you and you will be able to hold it on the target much more easily) The bow has a good braceheight, plus it is recoil free and noise free. The bow is what most would call a top end bow, but I would see no problem with it being a first bow. Heck, if that is your first bow, you may never want to upgrade bow.
