Alot of high end scopes you buy you are paying for the "lifetime warranty".
I have never paid over $250 on a scope and they've all performed great. However, my shots are limited to under 200 yards where I hunt.
Does a $2000 rifle shoot better than a $500 rifle? Doubt it.
