Overall, I think it's pretty hard for fibers to deal with the abuse we bowhunters put them through. Between trudging through thick brush and constant shooting they really go through a lot of stress. IMO, fiber strength is one of the weak points on all the best sights but I would sacrifice that any day for the illumination factor over plain metal pins. Spot Hog is one of the most durable sights on the market and there isn't oo much else they can do to prevent these types of things from happening. Lastly, I have found .19 pins to be great for shooting but not that good for hunting as far as durability is concerned or illumination in the low light conditions of daybreak and dusk. TGK
