hey keys....is the extry hard frizzen they sell just a lyman frizzen or is it a T/C hardend frizzen....i have not called them to find out yet....T/C since a few years ago changed there lock to be just about as good as anything else out now....also when i called T/C about there frizzen and gave them my ser number of my gun they said i had the new updated lock and harder frizzen and when it ever wore out just send it in to get it replaced with my warrinty....mauser i shoot my gun with the bevel of the flint up ____\....it stopped the extry wear that you are probily having....the top of my frizzen has a line across the top of the it that is about 1/16" deep untill i changed it around....now it is wore evenly all the way down the face of the frizzen....and have new cut agate flints now with about 75 shots on it now with out a misfire or new flint............................bob
