Default RE: World championships question

Well, I have to agree with bluejacket, alot of you haven't promoted our sport at all![:@] I"ve been shooting for 4 years now and have been to the Worlds to shoot for the last 2. Am I going back this year? You bet!! We're all disappointed about how last year ended, but like it was stated above, at least no one was struck by lightning.

My advice is if this is your first Worlds go with these goals 1) to meet some great people, I met one of my best friends from KY on the ranges of Snowshoe, we are 8 hrs apart, but spent a good part of the year (2003) visiting each, along with other great people & friends and my boy friend 2) the experience, yes there's alot of terrain but that's part of our sport, we've all shot in it all rain, wind, hail, snow, sleet, humidity, mud, & lightning 3) just plain have fun

I met another FBO shooter last year that had never been to the Worlds, she had never shot any other terrain other than flat, my advice to her was the same as it is to you. Even with the shoot cancelled she still came over to my room and thanked me, and said that she had a great time shooting with us and would try to make the National Triple Crown with her husband this year and WOULD be back to Worlds again next year.

Hope to see you all again this year, shoot straight and have a safe fun season![8D]
