Default RE: A red dot scope?

Watch out for the Bushnell 4 in 1. I put one on my muzzleloader in December and sent it back because the dot looked more like a diamond, the crosshair had two horizontal lines, and the 65 MOA circle also had double lines.

I thought it was just a bad scope until I saw one at a local store on display and it did the same thing. I let customer service know this and they let me "upgrade" to a holosight for $135.00 more. I will get it in Feb. and hope it works better than the 4 in 1.

Customer service was awesome (Jamie Burton), however, I have to wait awhile for the scope to come because they are out of stock.

If you go with the Bushnell try to look through one before you buy.

I was also considering the Leupold/Gilmore red dot. It has 1/3 moa adjustment instead of 1/2 on the Bushnell and has a wider field of view. The Bushnell is 79.99 and the Leupold is $139.00. The Leupold also has a 2moa dot, which is a little more accurate at longer distances.
